Family, Parenting, Reviews, and Giveaways - The Attic Girl: Jennifer ...

Yesterday I had the privilege of attending a live online Q&A session with actress Jennifer Garner about The Odd Life of Timothy Green. ?Bloggers had the opportunity to ask her questions (we were able to type them and talk to each other in a chat room) and Jennifer responded via webcam.?I was very excited to hear what Jennifer had to say about this movie! ?I was unable to attend a screening, but am hoping to see it now that it has hit theaters today.

My first impression of Jennifer was that she seems very down to earth and easy going. ?I have to admit that I was a bit "star struck". ?This was my first time attending something like this and it was a bit wild to have one of my favorite actresses there by web cam. ?

She mentioned that it was a bit unfair that we could see her, but she couldn't see us. ?She even took the opportunity to congratulate mom bloggers for being a powerful influence. ? ?

There were a lot of questions submitted, so I was pleasantly surprised that one of mine was answered!

?Here are some of the highlights that stuck in my mind: (I'm paraphrasing a bit since I was distracted by a toddler and some technical difficulties)

What do you want the audience to take home after seeing this film?

Well, of course I want them to be entertained and have a good time. ?I would love if the audience would take away that we should live in the moment more and judge ourselves less. ?

(My Question) ?What advice would you give to new moms?

Just take it easy on yourself. ?It's all going to come out okay! ?Someone once told me that everything is a phase. ?Just get through it and don't try to fix everything.

What has been your favorite role so far? ?

13 Going on 30

Who is one of your favorite children's authors?

Marla Frazee

If you could meet anyone dead or alive, who would it be?

I'll have to pick someone who is dead. ?Benjamin Franklin or Abraham Lincoln. ?Or Thomas Jefferson. ?I'd like to ask what it was like being there while he was writing the Declaration of Independence.

Thanks Jennifer for taking the time to speak with bloggers like myself about your latest movie!

The Odd Life of Timothy Green hits theaters today August 15th.
