LG's EA93 29-inch display features 21:9 aspect ratio, we take a look at IFA (video)

It's alive! We spotted a powered-off version of LG's latest monitor earlier in the week, but now it's loaded up with content and ready to make its formal debut. LG's gone big -- very big -- with some of the showings at its IFA booth. But in addition to the massive 84-inch UD 3D TV and the 55-inch OLED HD TV, it's also showcasing some more modest displays. The company announced its 21:9 aspect ratio monitor, the 29-inch EA93, just prior to IFA. The IPS monitor boasts a WQHD resolution (2,560 x 1,080 pixels) and supports four-way split-screen view. The wide-screen aspect ratio is the same you'll find at a movie theater, making it an ideal choice for viewing Blu-ray flicks, and LG's framing the EA93 as a choice setup for photographers and other multimedia pros, too.

LG had a half dozen of the displays on hand at its IFA 2012 booth playing content in a loop. One station demonstrated cinema playback with a trio of recent film trailers, while other demos included a stock-tracking layout, side-by-side browser windows and the Windows 8 screen you see above. Speaking of that latest Microsoft OS, the EA93 is perfectly suited for viewing extended layouts, giving you direct access to even more tiles simultaneously. We couldn't accurately judge sharpness, as the pre-recorded screens didn't appear at full resolution, though colors did appear bright and accurate. The chrome stand complemented the black finish nicely, while a multitude of ports on the back enabled USB 3.0, HDMI, DisplayPort and DVI connectivity. You can grab an up-close look at both sides of the 21:9 monitor in our gallery below.

IFA 2012: Huawei's Emotion UI for Android gets its day at IFA

Concern for making a consumer friendly experience has bled from Huawei's devices into its user interfaces.

The company announced the impending launch of a revamped UI for Android Thursday at IFA 2012 and offered a taste of what's to come.

The Emotion UI, as it's dubbed, aims to please, building on the company's "Design with Empathy" philosophy, according to a media release.

"Emotion UI is a reflection of Huawei's empathic design philosophy - built by consumers for consumers," said Dennis Poon, Huawei Device's global UI design director, in the release.

"The team was very conscious about placing people before technology," Poon said, adding the design team asked consumers what their ideal interactive experience would be like before undertaking the UI.

Putting the 'you' in UI

To that end, Huawei hosted a number of consumer forums and salons to read what was and wasn't working with its devices.

One of the biggest improvements to come out of those powwows and into the UI is a "Smart Tutorial" function, designed to bring first time users up to snuff on how to operate their phone.

In other areas, Huawei's pushing for customization and simplification, as seen in the "Me Widget" property that lets users condense their most go-to information and functions into a single, customized folder.

The homepage is also customizable as are folders for specific apps, though users be warned deleting an app folder takes all contents with it.

Huawei's reportedly come with with 20 Emotion themes available online, accessible to users who don't want one of six pre-loaded Android skins, including an Android 4.0 stock theme.

Poon also told TechRadar during the conference that the company plans to roll out Emotion UI updates monthly, tweaking it as consumers see fit.

Consumers can download the Chinese-only UI Friday, when the company will also ask for feedback on the experience and development process.

Emotion's public release shouldn't be too far off, though the company will announce a date closer to the launch.

TechRadar has more Huawei at IFA news, including the lowdown on some able-bodied Androids.

The Health, Economic and Environmental Benefits of Landscape ...

Landscape architecture in Sydney is becoming a popular trend. Not only does it create a stunning yard that neighbors will be ogling over, but landscape contractors can create striking landscape designs which have many environmental, health and economic benefits too.
According to local
Landscape Contractors, the demand for landscape architecture in Sydney has been steadily climbing. Australians are realizing the potential that their outdoor space has to offer and the benefits that a landscape architect in Sydney, Melbourne or elsewhere can provide. Landscape contractors have noticed an increase in the demand for landscape design, particularly in urban areas.
Environmental benefits of landscape architecture in Sydney include keeping non-native or invasive plant species out and a decreased need for plant maintenance and water. Landscape contractors generally designate a structured set of plants in specific areas, often combined with other natural non-living elements to create optimal landscaping in your own backyard. Many Australians are realizing the benefits of native plants and are choosing to work with their landscape architect in Sydney to use strictly local area species when landscaping. This is extremely beneficial to the environment because these plants naturally thrive in the area, so the amount of care and maintenance for the plants will be minimized and homeowners will not have to use excess water to support non-native species which reside in wetter climates. In addition to planting specific selected and native plants, landscaping can provide additional benefits with the use of non-living elements. Items such as rocks, woodchips and stone can yield beautiful landscape architecture in Sydney, or other urban areas where backyard space is limited, and minimize water and maintenance costs.

In addition to offering many environmental benefits, landscaping has economic benefits too. Depending on the type of landscaping used, Landscape contractors suggest that landscape architecture can cut back on watering costs, in addition to saving money on hiring a gardener or other service person to perform yard maintenance. The implementation of landscape architecture in Sydney is also a form of home improvement and can be written off as a tax deduction over numerous years, not to mention it greatly boosts the resale value of a home. A landscape architect in Sydney can provide additional advice and recommendations for creating landscapes that are both beautiful and economical.

Landscape architecture also offers many health benefits. A well landscaped yard can provide a peaceful sanctuary to rest and recharge. Not only is spending time out of doors fun and relaxing, it also provides sun exposure which can boost vitamin D levels, helping to prevent depression, cancer and other illnesses. Spending time outdoors can also lower stress levels and blood pressure resulting in a decreased risk of heart disease. Landscape contractors or a landscape architect in Sydney can suggest elements such as fountains, reflecting pools, gardens or other water elements that can help you create the perfect peaceful getaway in your own backyard!

In a Physics World special report on Japan, Dennis Normile reports on how the Japanese space agency JAXA plans to land a spacecraft onto an asteroid in 2018 to search for clues of how life began on Earth.

Hayabusa 2 will be JAXA's second attempt at collecting material from an asteroid, after its first mission returned to Earth in June 2010. Hayabusa 2 will be launched in 2014 with a view to settling on the targeted asteroid, named 1999 JU3, in mid-2018 before arriving back on Earth in 2020.

As soon as Hayabusa 2 safely reaches its destination it will fire fingertip-sized bullets into the surface of the asteroid at speeds of 300 m s and collect the rebounded fragments. After moving to a safe distance away, it will then detonate an impactor module, which will fire a 2 kg projectile into the asteroid to create a 2 m crater.

Hayabusa 2 will then return to the crater to collect samples that, as Normile writes, will not have been exposed to space weather and solar radiation before and will therefore have been created in the very early days of the solar system.

It is thought that the asteroid's distance from the Sun will mean a better environment for preserving water and amino acids, which may add weight to the theory that asteroids and comets helped bring life to Earth.

JAXA's first mission, Hayabusa, overcame engine failures, fuel loss and communication blackouts to finally return to Earth after successfully landing on the asteroid Itokawa. Tens of thousands of people in Japan watched the spacecraft re-enter the Earth's atmosphere via Internet streaming and more than 100,000 people queued at several venues around the country to catch a glimpse of the capsule when it went on display.

A malfunction during the original mission meant that bullets could not be fired to collect samples; however, specks of dust from the asteroid were caught in the collection canister, meaning some material was returned for analysis.

Shogo Tachibana, a cosmological chemist at Hokkaido University who is principal investigator for sampling for Hayabusa 2, hopes the material from the second mission will be free of contamination and therefore give a clearer insight into the early days of the solar system, unlike samples of meteorites that have crashed to Earth in the past.

GRAMMY-Winning Gospel Artist Fred ... - Food and Drink Digital

OAK BROOK, Ill., Aug. 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --?McDonald's USA today announced the 2012 McDonald's Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour, a free summer concert series that featured multi-award winning gospel artist Fred Hammond, raised more than $46,000 this year to support local Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Chapters and the Charity's important mission of helping improve the health and well being of children and families.

Currently in its sixth year, McDonald's pioneered the annual gospel tour as a way to bring positive, uplifting messages and entertainment to communities nationwide and emphasize the importance of giving back. With Hammond as the 2012 headliner, the free, nine-city tour also featured contemporary and urban gospel artists Byron Cage, 21:03, Canton Jones, J Moss, Myron Butler and VaShawn Mitchell, in select cities.

"I am humbled that McDonald's allowed me to headline this year's Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour and join their initiative to give back to the community," said Hammond, a 30-year gospel music veteran and former McDonald's crew member. "It was a fulfilling experience meeting families who were staying at Ronald McDonald Houses. Seeing their warm smiles reinforced the importance of taking time to show others we're there for them."

Prior to kicking off of the tour, Hammond took time to visit families at Ronald McDonald Houses. He sat down with parents and ill children who benefit from the little-to-no-cost lodging the Charity provides through its housing program, which helped families nationwide save more than $257 million in hotel costs last year.

During each tour stop, concertgoers saw behind-the-scenes video footage from Hammond's visit. Dedicated to RMHC, the video gave thousands of attendees an inside look at the hope and comfort Ronald McDonald Houses provide families while their children are treated in nearby hospitals. It also encouraged concertgoers to support their local chapter of RMHC by making a donation at a designated time during the show. Funds raised will be used to support RMHC local community programs.

"McDonald's strives to enrich people's lives and be good neighbors in ways that are relevant to the diverse communities we serve, and the Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour is just one way in which we give back to those communities," said Rob Jackson, McDonald's U.S. marketing director. "For the past three years, we have encouraged consumers to join us in strengthening their community by actively supporting their local RMHC Chapter. This is a banner year of fundraising for the tour, and McDonald's is proud to provide an eminent platform that encourages positive entertainment and helping the communities around us."

The 2012 McDonald's Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour stopped in cities across the nation, including: Atlanta, Birmingham, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Ft. Washington, Md., Jackson, Newark and Philadelphia. McDonald's launched Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour as an extension of its 365Black platform, which celebrates the pride, heritage and achievements of American-Americans year round. For nearly four decades, RMHC has helped improve the health and well being of children and families around the world.

Happy birthday, Pee-wee -- er, Paul Reubens!

Matt Sayles / AP

Paul Reubens as Pee-Wee Herman in 2010.

By Randee Dawn, TODAY contributor

Ready for the secret word, kids? It's?"birthday!"? Comedian Paul Reubens -- aka Pee-wee Herman --?turns 60 today.

Between 1981 and 1990, Reubens' character, invented?during a 1978 improvisation exercise, starred in?"The Pee-wee Herman Show," Pee-wee's Playhouse," and "Pee-wee's Big Adventure," Tim Burton's first feature film. He was surreal, hilarious, literal and like a five-year-old trapped in a man's body.

Pee-wee wasn't Reubens' only shot in the spotlight; after the end of the shows (and the temporary retirement of the character) following?his infamous?1991 adult-theater arrest, he appeared (not as Pee-wee) in films like "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Blow," and on TV shows like "Murphy Brown." A second arrest -- for owning pornography --?slowed things down in?2002. But Reubens keeps fighting for his career, and in the late 2000s gave Pee-wee a second life with a short on Funny or Die in 2009, and a Broadway appearance in 2010.?

It seems that no matter how old Reubens gets, Pee-wee will remain forever young. That's your name, and we won't wear it out. Happy birthday, Paul Reubens!

What's your favorite Pee-wee Herman memory? Let us know on Facebook!

Atlanta's Morris Brown College, Founded in 1881, Filed for Chapter ...

On Saturday, Morris Brown College voluntarily filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in Atlanta, Georgia. ?According to court filings, the college was founded in 1881 and its beginning marked ?the?opening of the first educational institution in Georgia under sole African-American patronage.? ?However, in 2002, the college was denied accreditation membership ?after over seven decades of continued?accreditation from the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and?Schools.? ?The loss of accreditation meant that Morris Brown College did not qualify for federal funding and its students were ineligible for financial aid.

For the past year, according to bankruptcy court documents, Morris Brown has been in discussions with?Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools to obtain accreditation and ?has met the vast majority of the requirements?for that accreditation.? ?However, it has failed to demonstrate financial stability, which is a prerequisite for accreditation. ?The college filed for chapter 11 protection because it ?determined that reorganizing its affairs in Chapter 11 is the most efficient and expeditious?manner in which to resolve its remaining financial issues.? ?Morris Brown?s president,?Dr. Stanley Pritchett, stated in a declaration filed with the court that ?Morris Brown College anticipates that upon reorganization of its financial?condition, it could achieve candidacy leading to full accreditation through TRACS within six to?twelve months of its emergence from Chapter 11.?

In the same declaration, Dr. Pritchett also identified the key challenges currently facing the college:

The most daunting challenges faced by Morris Brown College at this time are: its?excessive long-term bond debt that needs to be restructured or otherwise resolved; its lack of?federal financial aid for student support and, in turn, increased revenues to the College; and its?need to establish a sound investment program to encourage philanthropic giving and charitable?donations from its supporters to sustain the College into the future.

As such, the college intends to attempt to use the bankruptcy process to achieve certain goals:

[Morris Brown College] seeks in the Chapter 11 process to achieve the following?outcomes: (1) relief from and resolution of outstanding bond and other significant creditor?obligations, (2) financial stability sufficient to meet the requirements of TRACS and obtain?accreditation, and (3) a court-approved plan with these elements that will attract donor support.

The college?s chapter 11 petition lists assets of between $10 and $50 million. ?Liabilities within the same range are listed as being owed to between 200 and 1,000 creditors. ?Morris Brown College is represented in the bankruptcy case by the law firms of Dilworth Paxson LLP and?The Moore Law Group, LLC.

Burning-monk photographer Malcolm Browne dies

NEW YORK (AP) ? The phone calls went out from Saigon's Xa-Loi Buddhist pagoda to chosen members of the foreign news corps. The message: Be at a certain location tomorrow for a "very important" happening.

The next morning, June 11, 1963, an elderly monk named Thich Quang Duc, clad in a brown robe and sandals, assumed the lotus position on a cushion in a blocked-off street intersection. Aides drenched him with aviation fuel, and the monk calmly lit a match and set himself ablaze.

Of the foreign journalists who had been alerted to the shocking political protest against South Vietnam's U.S.-supported government, only one, Malcolm Browne of The Associated Press, showed up.

The photos he took appeared on front pages around the globe and sent shudders all the way to the White House, prompting President John F. Kennedy to order a re-evaluation of his administration's Vietnam policy.

"We have to do something about that regime," Kennedy told Henry Cabot Lodge, who was about to become U.S. ambassador to Saigon.

Browne, who died Monday at a New Hampshire hospital at age 81, recalled in a 1998 interview that that was the beginning of the rebellion, which led to U.S.-backed South Vietnamese President Ngo Dinh Diem being overthrown and murdered, along with his brother, Ngo Dinh Nhu, the national security chief.

"Almost immediately, huge demonstrations began to develop that were no longer limited to just the Buddhist clergy, but began to attract huge numbers of ordinary Saigon residents," Browne said in the interview.

Browne was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2000 and spent his last years using a wheelchair to get around. He was rushed to the hospital Monday night after experiencing difficulty breathing, said his wife, Le Lieu Browne, who lives in Thetford, Vt.

Browne spent most of his journalism career at The New York Times, where he put in 30 years of his four decades as a journalist, much of it in war zones.

By his own account, Browne survived being shot down three times in combat aircraft, was expelled from half a dozen countries and was put on a "death list" in Saigon.

In 1964, Browne, then an AP correspondent, and rival Times journalist David Halberstam both won Pulitzer Prizes for their reporting on the conflict in Vietnam. The war had escalated because of the Nov. 1, 1963, coup d'etat in which Diem was killed.

The plot ? by a cabal of generals acting with tacit U.S. approval ? was triggered in part by earlier Buddhist protests against the pro-Catholic Diem regime. These drew worldwide attention on June 11, 1963, when a monk set himself afire in a Saigon street intersection in protest as about 500 people watched.

The burning monk photo became one of the first iconic news photos of the Vietnam War.

"Malcome Browne was a precise and determined journalist who helped set the standard for rigorous reporting in the early days of the Vietnam War," said Kathleen Carroll, AP executive editor and senior vice president. "He was also a genuinely decent and classy man. "

Malcolm Wilde Browne was born in New York on April 17, 1931. He graduated from Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania with a degree in chemistry. Working in a lab when drafted in 1956, he was sent to Korea as a tank driver, but by chance got a job writing for a military newspaper, and from that came a decision to trade science for a career in journalism.

He worked first for the Middletown Daily Record in New York, where he worked alongside Hunter S. Thompson, author of "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas." Browne then worked briefly for International News Service and United Press, the forerunner of United Press International, before joining the AP in 1960. A year later, the AP sent him from Baltimore to Saigon to head its expanding bureau.

There, he became a charter member of a small group of reporters covering South Vietnam's U.S.-backed military struggle against the Viet Cong, a home-grown communist insurgency.

Within the year he was joined in Saigon by photographer Horst Faas and reporter Peter Arnett. By 1966, all three members of what a competitor called the AP's "human wave" had earned Pulitzer Prizes ? one of journalism's highest honors ? for Vietnam coverage.

Writing about official corruption and military incompetence, the group ? which also included the Times' Halberstam, Neil Sheehan of UPI, Charles Mohr of Time magazine, Nick Turner of Reuters and others ? were accused by critics in Vietnam and Washington of aiding the communist cause.

At one news briefing, Browne's persistent questions prompted an exasperated U.S. officer to ask, "Browne, why don't you get on the team?"

Browne, like some of his peers, initially saw the U.S. commitment to helping the beleaguered Saigon government as a reasonable idea.

In his 1993 memoir, "Muddy Boots and Red Socks," Browne said he "did not go to Vietnam harboring any opposition to America's role in the Vietnamese civil war" but became disillusioned by the Kennedy administration's secretive "shadow war" concealing the extent of U.S. involvement.

Amid the furor over tendentious coverage, some reporters claimed to have received death threats, and Browne said his name was among those on a list of "supposed enemies of (South Vietnam) who had to be eliminated."

In the 1998 interview, he said that he "never took that seriously" but that when South Vietnam government agents tried to arrest his wife, who had angered officials by quitting her information ministry job, Browne stared them down by standing in his doorway brandishing a souvenir submachine gun.

Tall, lanky and blond, Browne was a cerebral and eccentric character with a penchant for red socks ? they were easy to match, he explained ? and an acerbic wit befitting his grandfather's cousin, Oscar Wilde.

He ridiculed the word "media," for example, as "that dreadful Latin plural our detractors use when they really mean "scum."

Overall, associates saw him as complex, rather mysterious, and above all, independent.

"Mal Browne was a loner; he worked alone, did not share his sources and didn't often mix socially with the press group," recalled Faas, who died in 2012. "And stubborn ? he wouldn't compromise on a story just to please his editors or anyone else."

Browne wrote a 1965 book, "The New Face of War," and a manual for new reporters in Vietnam. Among its kernels of advice: Have a sturdy pair of boots, watch out for police spies who eavesdrop on reporters' bar conversations, and "if you're crawling through grass with the troops and you hear gunfire, don't stick your head up to see where it's coming from, as you will be the next target."

South Vietnamese officials censored early news reports but to mixed effects. At least once, Browne sent a story to the AP by surreptitiously taping a handwritten note over an innocuous photo being transmitted to Tokyo.

By 1965, impressed by how television appeared to be dominating the public discourse, the reporter who had never owned a TV set left the AP to join ABC News in Vietnam.

Browne quit ABC after a year over management questions.

After a venture into magazine writing, Browne joined The New York Times in 1968. He worked in Latin America, Eastern Europe and Asia, left again to edit a science magazine, and returned to the Times in 1985, mainly as a science writer. He also covered the 1991 Gulf War, again clashing with U.S. officials over censorship issues.

In addition to his wife, survivors include a son, Timothy; a daughter, Wendy, from a previous marriage; a brother, Timothy; and a sister, Miriam.

Browne will be buried on the family's property in Vermont, his widow said.

Limiting TV time: An effective strategy for preventing weight gain in children

ScienceDaily (Aug. 27, 2012) ? Reducing television viewing may be an effective strategy to prevent excess weight gain among adolescents, according to a new study released in the September/October 2012 issue of the Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior.

Findings were based on a one-year community-based randomized trial that enrolled 153 adults and 72 adolescents from the same households. During that year, researchers from the University of Minnesota, School of Public Health Obesity Prevention Center conducted six face-to-face group meetings, sent monthly newsletters, and set-up 12 home-based activities. In addition, each household agreed to allow researchers to attach a "TV Allowance" to all televisions in the household for the one-year study period. Television viewing hours, diet, and physical activity levels were measured before and after the intervention.

A clear association was observed among adolescents between reduction in TV hours and decreased weight gain over one year. The TV hours' impact on weight gain was not significant for adults. These findings suggest that television viewing is a risk for excess weight gain among adolescents. The implication is that parents who limit their adolescents' television viewing may help their adolescent maintain a healthy body weight. According to national survey data [NHANES] 2003-2006, about 31% of US children and adolescents are overweight or obese, therefore finding the causes for weight gain in this population is growing increasingly important.

According to Simone A. French, PhD, principal investigator of this study and the Director of the University of Minnesota's Obesity Prevention Center, "We tried to intervene on behaviors that are related to energy balance, such as television viewing, sugar-sweetened beverage intake, physical activity, and consumption of packaged convenience foods. Although the individual contribution of each of these behaviors to excess weight gain and obesity may be small, it is important to examine their possible role individually and together in promoting excess weight gain. Associations between these behaviors and risk for excess weight gain may differ among adults and adolescents because of their different physical and social developmental stages."

"This study is an important piece of evidence that reducing TV hours is a powerful weight gain prevention strategy parents can use to help prevent excess weight gain among their children by changing the home environment and household television viewing norms."

One year ago, Hurricane Irene sent cars bobbing down rivers, swept away covered bridges, put millions in the dark and killed dozens of people along the East Coast.

As Irene made landfall in North Carolina and roared north along a densely populated corridor loaded with high-rises, suburban sprawl and pricey beach homes, fears of storm surges and heavy winds lead to evacuations of low-lying coastal areas and the shuttering of one of the world's largest subway systems.

The storm made a direct hit on New York City, but the lashing rains saved their most dramatic damage for 100 miles or more inland. Irene knocked out power to thousands, flooded miles of roads and became the costliest Category 1 U.S. hurricane on record since at least 1980, with estimated total damage of $15.8 billion.

Here's a gallery of photos of the storm and its aftermath.

Chicago Cubs Top Colorado Rockies: North Siders End 4-Game Skid

CHICAGO ? Joe Mather took advantage of a rare start with a go-ahead single during a three-run rally in the eighth inning Friday and the Chicago Cubs ended a four-game losing streak with a 5-3 victory over the Colorado Rockies.

The Rockies had matched a season best with a five-game winning streak.

Chicago trailed 3-2 going into the eighth before Brett Jackson led off with his second homer of the season.

Pinch hitter Luis Valbuena doubled with one out and Mather, batting in the leadoff spot usually occupied by David DeJesus, followed with an RBI single against reliever Matt Belisle (3-5).

Mather later scored on reliever Matt Reynolds' throwing error to first on Anthony Rizzo's grounder.

James Russell (6-1) got two outs for the win and Carlos Marmol closed for his 16th save.

The Rockies scored in the first on an error by shortstop Starlin Castro, a single by Jordan Pacheco and a wild pitch by Jeff Samardzija.

Chris Nelson made it 2-0 in the second with his sixth homer. Carlos Gonzalez led off the third with his 21st homer and first since July 23.

Alfonso Soriano and Welington Castillo hit solo home runs in the Cubs fifth off Drew Pomeranz, making it 3-2.

Pomeranz left after the fifth. The home runs were the only hits he allowed.

Samardzija gave up two earned runs and six hits in seven innings, striking out seven.

NOTES: Cubs manager Dale Sveum opted for Mather to lead off against LHP Pomeranz, giving DeJesus a day off. "We'll keep everybody else in their slot and see what happens," he said. "We haven't seen many lefties in a while, so we'll give Joe a few at-bats." ... Pomeranz was the first lefty starter the Cubs faced since Aug. 8 in a 2-0 loss to San Diego's Clayton Richard ... Colorado 3B coach Rich Dauer will be inducted into the Baltimore Orioles Hall of Fame on Saturday. He played for the 1983 World Series champion Orioles ... Rockies OF Dexter Fowler (ankle) is off crutches and will likely not be in the lineup during the Cubs series. He could possibly pinch hit Sunday, manager Jim Tracy said. ... Colorado INF Josh Rutledge (quadriceps) is doing better, but is heavily taped and progressing slowly and won't be pushed, Tracy said.
