BREAKING: Suicide on the George Washington Bridge, police find body DOA

Multiple reports suggest that a person has fatally jumped off the George Washington Bridge, which connects upper Manhattan with Fort Lee, New Jersey.?

According to the posts the suicide happened at around 10pm.

Officials recovered the body on the New Jersey side of the Hudson River and found the jumper already dead.

The incident has caused severe delays on the bridge. Near midnight Sunday the Port Authority reported that there was a delay of 15 minutes on the lower deck and 30 minutes on the upper deck due to 'general volume of traffic.' By 1am the traffic alert was no longer in affect.

Several calls to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey were not returned Sunday night.
